Sócrates grew up in an place in North East Brazil where bread was hard to find back in the days. Beiju was (and still is) the daily staple food. When he came to England it was the opposite: he found bread everywhere, but not Beiju!
Tired of missing his childhood treat, in 2015 he gathered with Chef Gus in a mission to bring to the UK the sensational Brazilian Beiju.
